The 2020 Spring Festival has been postponed to a later date.

Today (March 6, 2020) we have made the very tough decision to postpone Spring Fest 15, which was scheduled for March 20-21, 2020. Due to the current uncertain circumstances and the nature of the event, which draws enthusiasts who travel from 25 states and several countries, it is best that we reschedule for another date. Thanks for understanding.

We will be processing refunds for all registered attendees and vendors. PayPal does not have an automated process, this may take up to a week for us to work through every transaction one-by-one issuing the refunds. We PLEASE ask that you DO NOT issue a chargeback via PayPal or your credit card as the charity that collected the registration fees will incur chargeback fees if you do.⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ The Hotels are aware of the situation and you may call to cancel your reservation. ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ Thanks again for your understanding. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

3/7 Update: We have been asked by several people if they could let the charity (Every 15 Minutes) keep their donation.  YES YOU CAN!  Please send an e-mail to Donations@socallx.com to let us know if you would like the charity to keep your donation.

#SF15 2020 Spring Festival Announcement

When you least expect it, expect it! Today, we are announcing that March 20-21, 2020 is the one and only Spring Fest 15. The world famous Auto Club Raceway at Pomona is once again host for the Grand Daddy of them all, SF15.

This historic track, and perhaps one of the most famous dragstrips in North America, is so exclusive there are only a few days a year the track can be open. Spring Fest is one of those days. We are partnering with some of today’s most established Mopar events to do what has never been done. Our goal is to gather enthusiasts from across the USA, and around the world, for the Ultimate Mega Meet Experience. We have a historic track, the amazing Southern California weather, and the most passionate enthusiasts, that will make up one spectacular weekend.

Spring Fest is where you will see it all. From mild, to wild, to some of the fastest vehicles in the platform from around the country. Every year we've had our share of FCA Executives. Everyone from Ralph Gilles, Mark Trostle, Tim Kuniskus (former Dodge CEO) and many others, attend this event. Spring Fest is the event FCA attends to see what trends are out in the community. It’s no surprise to us when you see some of these trends in production. Last year FCA Design held their first ever “Color Clinic”. Over 1500 attendees and FCA employees voted. The winning color was Black Eye and put into production for the Limited Edition 1320 Dodge Challenger. We are in the middle of car show season. If you are at an event, tell a friend. Most importantly let's TAG A FRIEND AND SHARE this post.

Be part of the history that will be #SF15. Created by Passion, Driven by Enthusiasts!

Spring Festival of Lx History

The Spring Festival of Lx's has its roots in Southern California as an enthusiast gathering for the hottest car platform to hit the American car market in years. Starting in 2004 (for 2005 model years), LX first referred to the new rear-wheel drive vehicle platform for the Chrysler 300 and Dodge Magnum. For the 2006 model year, the Dodge Charger was added. We now use the Lx designation to refer to not only the first generation LX's, but also as an all encompassing designation to include later iterations of LX (Chrysler 300), LC (Dodge Challenger) and LD (Dodge Charger).

In 2004, the first meeting of Lx enthusiasts consisted of only 4 vehicles. The next few meets through 2005 quickly grew to approach 100 vehicles. Starting in 2006, the first Spring Festival surpassed 300 vehicles with participants from all over the US and Canada. This event has grown every year since and in 2018 we exceeded 2000 vehicles combined from attendees, vendors and FCA. As a community and enthusiast event, we are fotunate to have gained the support of Chrysler, Dodge, Mopar and SRT. We have had many executives in attendance from both the local SoCal office as well as Auburn Hills. The Spring Festival is becoming one of their favorite events as well!

As participants at this event, you share the passion we have for these cars. Through social media and the various online forums, we post photos of our cars, discuss modifications and ask questions. The Spring Festival is the place where you connect with the other owners and that you've already become friends with online. You may be a long time attendee or a newbie, have a full blown modified car or a totally stock car, it makes no difference. If this will be your first event, you will not believe how great the people are. This is an experience of a lifetime and those who return year after year will tell you so. That's why they post and encourage everyone to attend. We hope to see you there.
